Baby Aniyah came to me directly from the airport. She and her mom were on their way back from out of state and decided to stop by at the studio for some pictures before heading home. As soon as I laid eyes on her, I knew this session would be a good one! She was the cutest little thing with those big brown eyes, sweetest little smile and a very calm personality.
Because not all babies are usually super calm when they’re awake at this age, getting them to sleep is crucial for a successful newborn session. This baby girl was super calm and looked around, all wide eyed. She went in and out of sleep and gave me the best eye contact!
Mommy had requested sunflowers, so I really wanted to deliver on that front. I created two different, but similar, setups using sunflowers. I also incorporated pink with little pink flowers and a white setup.
I’ve gotta say, I was so pleasantly surprised that a mom wanted yellow as part of a setup. The final shots of that yellow are eye catching and unique and I’m sure mom will cherish them forever.
I’m in love with every picture and can’t wait to create more setups using flowers in the future.
