If I could show you the pictures I took of my first born, eight years ago, you’d laugh out loud. Back then there wasn’t really a concept of “professional newborn photography”. Or if there was, I wasn’t aware. I busted out my old point and shoot camera (with flash on, mind you), dressed my sweet baby up in tutu’s, put her on a blanket and took her pictures. We were so in love with my baby that I couldn’t really see anything wrong with those pictures. I still have my mommy goggles on when it comes to my babies, but looking back at those pictures of her I can’t help but laugh and wish I had better quality pictures of her.

It was because of my second born I became a photographer. I wanted, no – NEEDED – good quality, beautiful pictures of my kids. Pictures I could look back at year after year and wanting to showcase on my walls, in my home.
