Pretty in pink | Allen Newborn Photographer

I’m back today, on my blog, to share more of my little munchkin’s newborn photos.

When I found out that I was having a girl, I knew I’d go all out with the pinks and the flowers for her photos. She’s my girl after having 3 boys (my oldest is a girl as well). If you’ve read any of my previous entries about my baby girl, you’ll know that she came early by almost 8 weeks. She spent 14 days in the NICU and was so tiny, weighing only 4lbs. I didn’t get to take her pictures until she was 8 weeks old, around her initial due date. She had a clogged eye duct that wouldn’t stop draining, cradle cap and was so “touchy”. I actually took her pictures for a week or two straight in order to have a good final gallery.

Looking back at these now is so fun! She’s a big girl now, just turned 8 months and weighs a whopping 16 lbs! That is 4 times the weight she was at birth! She’s sitting independently and is the happiest baby.

I love these pictures. I love the pink and the flowers and I know I’ll look back at these often.
